Coverage includes sensory perception, software (in the widest sense but particularly in regard to programming languages and links with master computers and CAD/CAM systems), kinematics and dynamics involved in robot design, robot task planning and description, rehabilitation activities in hostile surroundings, applications of robots in the service industries, AI development of educational courses, training methods, analysis of managerial and social policy, economic problems and items of theoretical and practical interest. Emphasis is on practical applications of theoretical concepts and also on many aspects of AI and its impact on automation.
