Clinical and Molecular Hepatology (CMH), is an international, peer-reviewed, open- access journal published quarterly in English. CMH aims to share advanced and latest knowledge, trend, and understanding of hepatobiliary diseases, to provide a wide open academic forum for active debate and discussion among clinical doctors, translational researchers, and basic scientists, and to improve public health through a multidisciplinary approach, especially in resource-limited Asia-Pacific area with high prevalence of B viral infection and hepatocellular carcinoma. In addition, CMH gives priority to epidemiological studies of hepatobiliary diseases in East Asia, North Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southwest Asia, Pacific, Africa, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Central America, and South America.
CMH publishes original papers, meta-analysis, letter to editor, case reports, reviews, guidelines, editorials, and liver image and pathology on all aspects of the field of hepatology.

Seung Up Kim is the professor of internal medicine at Yonsei university and chief of the fatty liver clinic at Severance hospital, Seoul, Korea. Professor Kim has developed active intellectual collaborations and close personal connections with hepatologists across Asia, US and Europe. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in the field of hepatology. His major research interests include viral hepatitis, non-invasive assessment of liver fibrosis and steatosis, anti-fibrotic treatment, and liver cancer. Prof. Kim has served as a member of editorial board in Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, an associate editor in Gut and Liver, and an academic editor in PLoS One. At January 2020, Prof. Kim succeeded Prof. Yoon Jun Kim who has been the editor-in-chief of Clinical and Molecular Hepatology (CMH) since 2016, during which time he successfully placed CMH among the renowned journals in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. As the editor-in-chief of CMH, Prof. Seung Up Kim seeks to focus on three key values in order to create a solid platform for effective and up-to-date scientific communication. Rapid publication process, fairness with clear conflict of interest, and transparency. |
