Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (JRMGE) is a Bimonthly journal in English to publish high-quality original and innovative papers on theories, methodologies and applications of rock, soil and geotechnical engineering, as well as insightful survey papers.
The English Journal is created to foster the international exchange of academic ideas and to promote the development of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, functioning actively as a bridge to link the research achievements with the international world, which aims to make more readers know the latest research development and key engineering construction in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering.
The Journal reflects worldwide especially Chinese new achievements, new theory, new technique, new experiences and new development. Contributions are cordially welcome about state key projects, achievements in projects funded by national natural foundation or other important projects. Research in engineering application of soil mechanics is also accepted. To quicken the exchange of the academic information, essay, discussion, brief conference news, introduction of new books and related academic trends are also accepted.
The journal is a peer reviewed publication for Chinese and overseas researchers engaging in fields related to rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, designers and project managers, teachers and experimentalist, faculty and students of higher learning and so on.
All related original contributions with rigorous justifications and timely expository papers are welcome from all over the world.
Aims and scope
Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (JRMGE) is a Bimonthly journal focused on the latest research achievements in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, and provides an opportunity for colleagues from all over the world to understand the current developments in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering.
The scope of articles includes new theories, new technologies, new methods and experiences, in-situ and laboratory tests, new developments, and timely reviews on selected subjects in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering in China and overseas. Articles should contain original data and facts which support the conclusions. Manuscripts should conform to the format guidelines set out below.
Included in the databases of SCIE, Scopus, CSCD, Geobase, Ulrich′s, Wanfang, CNKI, VIP (Chongqing).
Instructions to Authors
Submission of papers
The entire submission and review process for the Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering is handled electronically, which shortens publication times. All papers should be submitted through http://www.rockgeotech.org. All correspondence between editor and author is performed by e-mail, and paper copies are not required. Authors submit their article online simply by registering, logging-in, and submitting.
Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Full postal addresses must be given for all co-authors. Please consult a recent journal paper for style if possible.
Original material: Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher.
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to sign a “Journal Publishing Agreement” (for more information on this and copyright see http://www.rockgeotech.org). Acceptance of the agreement will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. An e-mail (or letter) will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a “Journal Publishing Agreement” form or a link to the online version of this agreement.
If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.
