Instructions to Authors
Earth, Planets and Space (EPS) covers scientific articles in Earth and Planetary Sciences, particularly geomagnetism, aeronomy, space science, seismology, volcanology, geodesy, and planetary science. EPS also welcomes articles in new and interdisciplinary subjects, including instrumentations. Only new and original contents will be accepted for publication. No review papers will be accepted. A word template for authors is available.
Each article type published by Earth, Planets and Space follows a specific format, as detailed in the corresponding instructions for authors; please choose an article type from the list on the left to view the instructions for authors.
The instructions for authors includes information about preparing a manuscript for submission to Earth, Planets and Space, criteria for publication and the online submission process. Other relevant information about the journal's policies, the refereeing process and so on can be found in 'About this journal'.
Electronic archiving of data enables readers to replicate, verify and build upon the conclusions published in papers in the journal. It is recommended that all data which are not directly attached to a publication as electronic supplementary files be deposited in the data library PANGAEA at www.pangaea.de. Data is archived by an editor in standard format(s) in machine readable form and made available via Open Access. After processing, the author receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) which provides a link to the supplement to allow it to be proof-read. Data can be referenced in the publication to facilitate linking between the journal article and the data. Please send data with a description to info@pangaea.de.
