Quality Technology and Quantitative Management (ISSN 1684-3703) is an international refereed journal publishing original work in quality, reliability, queuing service systems, applied statistics (including methodology, data analysis, simulation), and their applications in business and industrial management. The journal publishes both theoretical and applied research articles using statistical methods or presenting new results, which solve or have the potential to solve real-world management problems. Survey articles are welcome provided they cover important broad fields. Academic researchers as well as practitioners are all encouraged to submit articles for consideration. For more information, please check our journal website. Quality Technology and Quantitative Management (QTQM) is currently abstracted/indexed in the following services: Science Citation Index Expanded, MathSciNet, Current Index to Statistics (CIS)
Instructions to Authors
SUBMISSION
Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts electronically. Electronic submissions should be sent as email attachments in PDF format to qtqm@cc.nctu.edu.tw. All papers are reviewed by the Editors and external referees. Submission of a paper implies that it has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that if accepted it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the publisher.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
Manuscripts must be typewritten in English, double-spaced with wide margins on one side of white paper. Good quality printouts with a font size of 12 pt are required. The corresponding author should be identified with an asterisk and footnote (including the E-mail address). An electronic copy of the paper, in Microsoft Word (preferred) or TeX/LaTeX format should accompany the final version. The Editors reserve the right to adjust style in order to achieve uniformity. Generally the size of a manuscript should not exceed 15 printed pages. Each paper should be provided with an abstract of about 100-150 words summarizing concisely the purpose and results of the paper. The following order when typing manuscripts should be adhered to title, authors, affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text, acknowledgements, references, figures, tables, and then appendix. Do not import the figures or tables into the text. All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. In the text refer to references by a number in square brackets, and the full reference should be given in alphabetical order at the end of the paper. References should be presented as follows:

ILLUSTRATIONS
All illustrations should be provided in camera-ready form, suitable for reproduction (which may include reduction) without retouching. The allowable formats for the illustrations should be those, which can easily be imported into MS Word or TeX/LaTeX. Charts and diagrams are to be referred as "Figure(s)" and be numbered consecutively in the order to which they are referred. They should accompany the manuscript, but not be included within the text. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and typed on a separate sheet. Footnotes to tables should be typed below the table and should be referred to by superscript lowercase letters. Authors should submit an electronic copy of their paper with the final version of the manuscript. The electronic copy should match the hardcopy exactly. Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned within 3 days of receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors, and any others may be charged to the author. Any queries should be answered in full. Authors are urged to check their proofs carefully before return. A complimentary copy of the issue, in which the contributed article has appeared will be supplied free of charge.
