Published twice a year in full colour print and online, The Journal of Operational Oceanography contains peer reviewed papers of a specialist nature originating in the commercial sector, as well as from academics developing techniques for applications. Operational Oceanography is a fast growing field of science to which both academic research and operational research are making significant contributions. Given a newly developing field, and a growing population of researchers and practitioners, this specialist journal addresses the needs of this new community offering a means of clustering the growing numbers of papers in the field
