Agribusiness: An International Journal publishes research that improves our understanding of how food systems work, how they are evolving, and how public and/or private actions affect the performance of the global agro-industrial complex. The journal focuses on the application of economic analysis to the organization and performance of firms and markets in industrial food systems. Subject matter areas include supply and demand analysis, industrial organization analysis, price and trade analysis, marketing, finance, and public policy analysis. International, cross-country comparative, and within-country studies are welcome. To facilitate research the journal’s Forum section, on an intermittent basis, offers commentary and reports on business policy issues.

Instructions to Authors
Agribusiness is pleased to offer authors web-based manuscript submission and peer review. Submit your manuscripts online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/agr. Manuscripts submitted online are received on the day of submission and quickly assigned to reviewers. Through individual Author Centers on this website, authors can view the status of their manuscripts as they progress through the review process. Notification of the disposition of each manuscript will be sent by E-mail to the corresponding author on the day of decision. To submit your manuscript online:
1. Go to the submission website.
2. If you do not already have an account, then create an account for yourself by clicking on the "Create an Account" button. You then will be able to submit and monitor the progress of your manuscripts. If you have forgotten your password, click "Forget your password," to have your account information sent to your e-mail address.
3. Follow the instructions carefully. Submit manuscript and all figures as separate files. You do not need to mail any paper copies of your manuscript.
4. At the end of the successful submission, a confirmation screen with manuscript number will appear and you will receive an E-mail confirming that the manuscript has been received by the journal. If this does not happen, please check your submission and/or contact tech support at support@scholarone.com
Upon its acceptance, a manuscript is copyedited and typeset. Page proofs will be e-mailed to the corresponding author who will have 48 hours to return corrections.
Additional Reprint Purchases. Should you wish to purchase additional copies of your article, please click on the link and follow the instructions provided:https://caesar.sheridan.com/reprints/redir.php?pub=100898&acro=AGR
Copyright Transfer Agreement. No article can be published unless accompanied by a signed Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA), which serves as a transfer of copyright from author to publisher. A CTA can be obtained from www.wiley.com/go/ctabus. Authors must obtain permission to reprint previously published material.
Format. Authors should refrain from complex formatting. Manuscripts should be double spaced on one side of the paper and must be no longer than 30 pages including references, not including tables and figures. Please note: Agribusiness is a double-blinded journal. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE IDENTIFYING INFORMATION (Authors' names and affiliations) IN YOUR MANUSCRIPT. Include names and affiliations on a separate "Tltle" page.
A 100-150 word abstract is required (including EconLit citations), which should have the heading "Abstract." Please classify your paper in at least one, but in no more than three, EconLit subject matter areas. The EconLit classification of subject matter areas is available at http://www.econlit.org/subject_descriptors.html. Please put the EconLit alphanumeric subject codes at the end of your abstract in brackets.
Where possible, material intended for footnotes should be inserted in the text as parenthetical material. The main text of the manuscript should be divided into numbered sections for clarity. For example: 3. SHUT-DOWN ANALYSES; 3.1 Shut-Down Analysis Based on Operational Control Protocols.
Tables & Figures. Tables and figures should not be embedded in the text. Placing them in a separate electronic file is best. Each table and figure should be cited in the text, and should be numbered and have an explanatory heading.
Author Biosketch. Provide a short paragraph for each author containing the following information: author name, current title and institution, e-mail and mailing addresses, degrees earned and when and from where they were earned, and a few topics of current research interest.
References. References should refer only to material listed within the text, and should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript. Examples of the proper style for in-text citations are (a) Jones (1996) stated, (b) Smith and Johnson (2003) reported, and (c) A recent study has shown the time period is longer (Smith & Johnson, 2003). Samples of the most common entries in reference lists appear below.
