The eLitMed.hu healthcare portal is now live!
The publisher Literature Medica and the medical journal Lege Artis Medicinae (LAM) have been launched 23 years ago. Our 18th anniversary marks the start of a new era, with more freedom and choices, but also greater responsibility. Responding to the challenges of today and using the possibilities provided by state-of-the-art technology, we created a new forum for intellectual values: the eLitMed.hu web portal for healthcare professionals. Our web portal is based on our experiences with LAM and the opinion-shaping effect of the intellectual workshop that evolved from it. Our mission has not changed since we launched the LAM: "Founded in 1990 for improving the scientific and artistic values of medicine and the health of the nation in Hungary." Uniquely in Hungary, the eLitMed.hu web portal provides a comprehensive, searchable library of Hungarian-language scientific papers published in the past 18 years in print. The eLitMed.hu provides evidence-based, useful and up-to-date information about medicine, the latest results in biomedical research and healthcare - including its social, economical, philosophical, legal and ethical aspects. We would like to provide special services to our users: according to your own field of interest, you will receive a personalised newsletter including the latest scientific and health-related news.
Using eLitMed.hu, we are going to renew our system of credit-earning courses, thus we can contribute to our readers carreer building as well as their personality development.
Besides comprehensive scientific information, eLitMed.hu will have interactive sections as well. Our regular readers can share their thoughts with authors, independent experts or even their patients. In order to improve the quality of healthcare in Hungary, we would like to have polls on various issues. We are counting on your personal and professional experience and thoughts - let's shape our shared world by your vote! We hope that you are going to enjoy browsing eLitMed.hu as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
