Pain Physician is a peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal written by and directed to an audience of interventional pain physicians, clinicians and basic scientists with an interest in interventional pain management and pain medicine. Pain Physician presents the latest studies, research, and information vital to those in the emerging specialty of interventional pain management – and critical to the people they serve. Pain Physician publishes reports of original research, guidelines, narrative and systematic reviews, and commentaries on a broad range of topics. Pain Physician is most interested in papers that will influence practice and address important advances in interventional pain management. Pain Physician's circulation is over 4,000. Pain Physician is also an open access journal, available online with free full manuscripts at www.painphysicianjournal.com. Pain Physician requires that all manuscripts be prepared in accordance with the "Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals," developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors [ICMJE (www.icmje.org)], with the exception of reference citations and format.
