Particular emphasis is given to plasma physics, with related fields such as the study of charged particles in electromagnetic fields, synchrotron radiation, relativistic electron beams, gas lasers and discharges receiving coverage as well. Also well represented are studies of the properties of condensed matter, including semiconductors and superconductors, and material science. TOPICS COVERED Applied physics, especially plasmas; quantum electronics; surface effects; accelerator design and development; atomic and molecular physics; materials science; and theoretical and mathematical physics. Technical Physics is abstracted and/or indexed in Current Physics Index, INSPEC, PASCAL, Physics Abstracts, SPIN. The journal was founded in 1931.
