Among the areas of interest the journal covers are: Synthesis and processing of organic, inorganic, and hybrid nanosized materials by physical, chemical, and biological methods Modeling and simulation of synthetic, assembly, and interaction processes Characterization of size-dependant properties Realization and application of novel nanostructures and nanodevices   Instructions to Authors Online-only Submission Policy As of December 10, 2002, Nano Letters will accept online manuscript submissions only, via the ACS Paragon System. Please make sure to register with the ACS Paragon System to submit your manuscript. Nano Letters features cover art in each issue. Art is chosen by the Editor and cannot be returned to the author. Authors are encouraged to use the Nano Letters Document Templates for preparing manuscripts for submission as well as for preparing final, accepted manuscripts. Guidelines for Authors (PDF) Call for Papers Permission Request Guidelines to Use Material from the ACS Publications Division About Embedded Multimedia Images As a special feature of Nano Letters, authors may submit embedded images such as color figures, animations, or chemical structures that can be viewed and manipulated within the HTML file itself or in a separate window, with the appropriate plug-ins or viewers. A variety of electronic file types are acceptable if they can be rendered by publicly available viewers including Chime, WebLab Viewer, RasMol, etc. Preparation and Submission of Hardcopy Manuscripts Author instructions vary somewhat for each journal.
