Substantive articles report on applications of multivariate research methods. Methodological articles present new developments in multivariate methods or address methodological issues in current research. Theoretical articles provide research syntheses by integrating the findings of different studies within a specific area. Alternatively, theoretical articles may present multivariate solutions to current research problems in the social and behavioral sciences. Authors should limit their manuscripts to 40 double-spaced typewritten pages. A title page should be provided that gives the manuscript's title, and the names and affiliations of all authors exactly as they are to be printed. The title page should also include that name and address of the person to whom requests for reprints should be addressed. A 120-word abstract should follow the title page. Contributors are responsible for all statements made in their work, and for obtaining permission from copyright owners if they use an illustration or lengthy quote (over 100 words) that has been published elsewhere. Contributors should write to both the publisher and the author of such material, requesting nonexclusive world rights in all languages for such use in the article and all future editions of it.
