Manuscripts on disk |
[back] | Please submit your electronically produced manuscript on disk. Please note: Employ only most widely used data processing / text processing programs and state the operating system, program and number of the version on each disk. Save your contribution additionally via a data exchange format (*.tf, *.txt etc.) Utilise if possible the endnote function for the references. Position the legends of illustrations/figures and tables at the end of the manuscript. Store figures and graphics as separate files and do not include these in the text. We can use the following file formats:
- for colour/grey scale illustrations: *.eps, *.tif, *jpg, *.wmf (resolution: 300 dpi).
- for graphics/line drawings: *.eps (resolution: 600 dpi).
In addition to your disk we need three printouts of your manuscripts and graphic illustrations. These printouts are binding for us. Please also include a signed statement to the effect that printouts and files are identical in respect of contents.
Corrections and reprints |
[back] |
- Proofs for correction are submitted by the publishers with a request for careful scrutiny and quick return to the publishers. Publishers must be reimbursed for costs involved in large-scale or delayed revisions or for corrections that are the author's fault.
- Corrections of page proofs are executed by the editorial department.
- The deadline for submitting the corrections is not a valid criterion indicating the date of publication.
- 25 reprints of every contribution will be sent to the first- named author (collectively for all co-authors). Additional reprints may be ordered against payment of the extra cost involved (cf. the reverse of the reprint order form sent with the proofs for correction).
