About the journal GCB (new subtitle in May 2010: Research and Clinics in Hepatology and Gastroenterology) publishes high quality papers in the field of hepatology and gastroenterology. After one century the journal "Gastroenterologie Clinique et Biologique" will be making a decisive step towards the international scene by publishing in English language. The new Editorial team starting in May 2010 puts the accent on rapid communication of new research and clinical developments and so called "hot topic" issues. Following a clear Editorial line, besides original articles and case reports, each issue will feature editorials, commentaries, a seminar, mini-reviews, pictorial reviews and several keynotes. CME articles will be carefully edited and follow the rules of medical journalism: well structured and a pleasure to read. The journal encourages research and discussion between all those involved in the specialty on an international level. Articles in press are online and indexed in the international databases (Current Contents, Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct).
GCB (nouveau sous-titre à partir de mai 2010 : Research and Clinics in Hepatology and Gastroenterology) publie des articles de référence dans les domaines d’hépatologie et de gastroentérologie. Après un siècle le journal "Gastroentérologie Clinique et Biologique" fera un pas décisif vers la scène internationale en publiant en langue anglaise. La nouvelle équipe de rédaction à partir de mai 2010 met l’accent sur la communication rapide des nouveaux développements en recherche et clinique et traitera les sujets d’actualité. Suivant une ligne éditoriale claire, mis à part les articles originaux et les cas cliniques, chaque numéro comportera des éditoriaux, commentaires, un séminaire, mini-reviews, review en images and plusieurs notes. Les articles d’enseignement seront rédigés avec soin and suivront les règles du journalisme médical : bien structuré procurant un plaisir à la lecture. Le journal encourage la recherche et la discussion entre tous les intervenants dans la spécialité au niveau international. Les articles sous presse sont mis en ligne et référencés dans les banques de données internationales (Current Contents, Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct).

AUTHOR ARTWORK INSTRUCTIONS Help us reproduce your artwork to the highest possible standards - in both paper and digital formats
Submitting your illustrations, pictures, tables and other artwork (such as multimedia- and supplementary files) in an electronic format helps us produce your work to the best possible standards, ensuring accuracy, clarity and a high level of detail. Checklist
Before you send us your artwork, make sure you can answer 'yes' to the following:
My files are in the correct format - TIFF, EPS or PDF. MS Office files (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) are also accepted, provided they meet certain conditions. For more information, see File Formats. My color images are provided in the RGB colorspace. The physical dimensions of the artwork match the dimensions of the journal to which I am submitting. The lettering used in the artwork does not vary too much in size. See Sizing of Artwork. I have used the recommended naming conventions. See File Naming. If you are delivering your artwork on disk:
All illustrations are provided as separate files and as hardcopy on separate sheets. All artwork is numbered according to its sequence in the text. Figures, schemes and plates have captions and these are provided on a separate sheet along with the manuscript, in addition all figures are referred to in the text. If required, I have specified the preferred magnification factor of my artwork on the sheet with filenames that accompany the disk. My artwork is on a 3.5" disk, CD-ROM, ZIP disk or JAZ disk.
