Boletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio is a co-edition by CSIC Press-Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas and Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio.
The Journal it is covered since 1998 by ISI-WoS (Science Citation Index, SCI and Journal Citation Reports Science Edition, JCR), as the only Journal in Spanish, and since 2007 by Scopus-Elsevier.
Boletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio provides immediate, unrestricted access to all contents of this online edition.
Focus and Scope
Since 1960, as a vehicle for the dissemination of research in the area, the SECV publishes Boletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio as a bimonthly Journal.
The scientific level of the journal was recognised in 1998 by inclusion in the Science Citation Index; it is the only journal published in Spanish in this field. Since 2007 the journal has also been included in the Scimago Journal Records (SJR), promoted by the Scopus platform of Elsevier and on the Open Access and Digital CSIC servers. It is available in databases such as Ceramics Abstracts, PASCAL, SILICA, Georef and the Spanish Index of Science and Technology.
The journal features:
• original research articles, with abstract in Spanish and English. • reviews of new books to appear on the world market • economy and the market • SECV activities • news of ceramic fairs • general information about conferences, meetings, news and new products • ceramic materials standardization • directory of ceramics and glass

Articles
Articles will must be scientific reports related to the ceramics and the glass in the areas of Art, Design and Patrimony, Basic Science, Electroceramic, Glazes and ceramic pigments, Bricks and Roof tiles, Raw materials, Environmental, Whitewares, Tiles, Refractory, Coatings and Glasses.
The Editorial Committee will select two external reviewers for every submitted manuscript; their comments will be sent to the authors. Only original manuscripts will be accepted.

Review Article
Review articles will need a previous extended summary of 700 words indicating the article approach and the topic relevance. After acceptance of the Editor the original will follow the regular review process. English language will be recommended for the review articles in order to enhance the diffusion and impact.

Technical Notes are original works with a technological approach, and will follow the regular evaluation process.
