It seeks to publish the highest-quality scholarship on a range of fields including philology, philosophy, aesthetics, media studies, visual culture, gender studies, and transnationalism in so far as they relate to German-language material or other languages in a German-cultural context. Jointly sponsored by the Canadian Association of University Teachers of German and the German division of the Australasian Universities Language and Literature Association, the journal endeavors to promote German studies across a broad international context.  Submissions are welcome in English, French or German.     Instructions to Authors Seminar-Submission-Guidelines.pdf Editorial Board Co- Editors Karin Bauer is Chair of the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at McGill University. She has published widely in the areas of critical and cultural theories, Nietzsche, gender, and contemporary German literature—in particular, the work of Herta Müller. Her recent edition of the writings of radical icon Ulrike Meinhof explores the rise of a radical political culture of dissent in the 1960s. Her current projects focus on the iconography of radical politics and the formation of alternative public spheres in the 1960s and 70s emerging to contest, augment, and subvert dominant ideas and paradigms. http://www.mcgill.ca/german/faculty/bauer Andrew Piper is associate professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at McGill University and an associate member of the Department of Art History and Communication Studies. His work focuses on the intersection of literature and the book in Germany and Europe from the eighteenth century to the present.
