Electronics — Open Access Journal
Electronics (ISSN 2079-9292; CODEN: ELECGJ) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal on the science of electronics and its applications published monthly online by MDPI.
- Open Access - free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
- High visibility: indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science) from Vol. 4 (2015), Inspec(IET) and Scopus (2017 CiteScore: 3.01).
- Rapid publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 16.2 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 4.1 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the second half of 2018).
- Recognition of reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in any MDPI journal, in appreciation of the work done.

Aims
Electronics (ISSN 2079-9292) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science of electronics and its applications. It publishes reviews, research articles, short communications and letters. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided. There are, in addition, unique features of this journal:
- manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed
- electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure - if unable to be published in a normal way - can be deposited as supplementary material
