About the journal
Diagnostics (ISSN 2075-4418; CODEN: DIAGC9) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal on medical diagnosis published monthly online by MDPI.
- Open Access—free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
- High Visibility: Indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE - Web of Science), Scopus, EMBASE (Elsevier) and Chemical Abstracts (CAS). Citations available in PubMed, full-text archived in PubMed Central.
- Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 13.4 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 1.9 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2020).
- Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in any MDPI journal, in appreciation of the work done.

Aims
Diagnostics (ISSN 2075-4418) is an international scholarly open access journal on medical diagnostics. It publishes original research articles, reviews, short communications, case reports and interesting images. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental and/or methodological details must be provided for research articles.
