About the journal
Aims and Scope
IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (hereinafter called TEEE ) publishes 6 times per year as an official journal of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (hereinafter "IEEJ"). This peer-reviewed journal contains original research papers and review articles on the most important and latest technological advances in core areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in related disciplines. The journal also publishes short communications reporting on the results of the latest research activities TEEE ) aims to provide a new forum for IEEJ members in Japan as well as fellow researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from around the world to exchange ideas and research findings. To fully cover this wide field of study, IEEJ's five technical societies (subsidiary groups under IEEJ) take responsibility for editing one issue per year while additionally selecting issue topics and soliciting papers. Areas covered by the five technical societies are:
- Fundamentals and Materials
- Power and Energy
- Electronics, Information and Systems
- Industry Applications
- Sensors and Micromachines
As an official journal of IEEJ, TEEE also provides reports on important conferences and meetings sponsored by the Institute.

Instructions to Authors
IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (TEEE) accepts original research papers, review articles and short communications on the most important and latest technological advances in electrical and electronic engineering and in related disciplines.
To fully cover this wide field of study, IEEJ's five technical societies each edit one issue per year and solicit papers on special issue topics. Areas covered by the five technical societies are:
Fundamentals and Materials
Electric Power and Energy
Electronics, Information and Systems
Industry Applications
Sensors and Micromachines
Criteria for Selection
Papers should contribute to scientific research or technology in electrical engineering, and will be judged on creativity, originality and their usefulness to the development of scientific research or technology.
Articles must be written in English and in a style that will enable communication to specialists in the field as well as non-specialists. Authors must warrant that the paper has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. Papers that have been previously published in the meetings or symposia, sponsored or co-sponsored by IEEJ or papers that expand upon a previously published Letter may be submitted for review.
Unless otherwise specified, all articles will be peer-reviewed by two reviewers. Author revisions must be submitted within 3 months of the initial decision. Any revisions received after this deadline will be treated as a new submission.
Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation and Submission
Guidelines for preparation of articles and Latex and word templates are available at the IEEJ submission site (link below). All submissions should be made through the IEEJ Paper Management System at the following address: http://www2.iee.or.jp/ver2/honbu/90-eng/14-magazine/index030.html
Copyright
Authors will be required to sign a Copyright to the IEEJ, which is available from the IEEJ submission site: http://www2.iee.or.jp/ver2/honbu/90-eng/14-magazine/index030.html
Publishing Fee including Reprints
When the paper is accepted for publication, the author will have to purchase 50 or more copies of the reprint at a fee. The publishing fee including reprints for TEEE is indicated in the Table 4-2.
