About the journal
Clinical Research in Cardiology is an international journal for clinical cardiovascular research. It provides a forum for original and review articles as well as clinical correspondence and critical perspective articles. Articles are only accepted if they meet stringent scientific standards and have undergone peer review. The journal regularly receives articles from the field of clinical cardiology, angiology, as well as heart and vascular surgery. As the official journal of the German Cardiac Society, it gives a current and competent survey on the diagnosis and therapy of heart and vascular diseases. Several supplemental issues give an overview on the current knowledge in specific areas of heart and circulatory clinical research.

The desired insertion places of figures and tables are to be marked clearly in the text. Electronic files Please observe our technical instructions (which are available on our website and in certain issues of the journal) for the composition of your manuscript files. Summary and Key words A summary containing the essential points must accompany each article (except for clinical correspondence). It should be written to present a condensed extract of the article and be suitable for international documentation systems. An inadequate summary delays the processing of the manuscripts. Up to 5 key words needed for a register and for documentation purposes are to be given below the summary. References Only articles cited in the text are to be listed. They should be arranged alphabetically by the first author’s name and numbered sequentially. Only the reference number should appear in the text (in parentheses).
