About the journal

Romanian Association of Medical Laboratories is pleased to be the publisher of its official journal: Romanian Review of Laboratory Medicine-RRLM. The RRLM is published four times a year and is singular publication in Romania to cover entirely the vast field of Laboratory Medicine. We encourage our members to publish their research projects and professional materials in our journal.

The close relationship between paraclinic and general human pathology investigations impose the laboratory medicine as an interdisciplinary specialty needed on a medical practice based on scientific evidence. The Romanian Review of Laboratory Medicine releases original articles, general and professional reviews in the domain of laboratory medicine. The purpose of the review is to publish new informations, that can bring a better understanding of the biological mechanisms that produce human diseases, to prevent and diagnostic them as precise as possible and to monitor the therapy and evolution of the health of the patiences. The review also has a section of “Course Notes” which addresses as much to medical residents as to anyone who wants to refresh his knowledge in the current debated topics. Before the publication, the articles are being analyzed by scientific referees and then redacted. The articles are being sent to highly experienced referees in the field of laboratory medicine from medical universities in the country or abroad, without specifying the name or the function of the authors. Also the name of the referees is not made known to the authors.

RRLM have the following structure: Editor-in-Chief, Editor Assistant, Technical Editor, International Editorial Board and Editorial Council and publishes editorials, reviews, scientific and professional papers, case reports, guidelines and recommendations issued by IFCC or some other professional societies, announcement of new books, professional events (congresses, symposia).

The Romanian Association of Medical Laboratories is pleased to announce that the RRLM is now available also as an electronic format.

We hope that the Romanian Review of Laboratory Medicine will bring an important contribution on an international level by making known the romanian medicine results and contribution.
