Submission guidelines:

Cover letter: Summarize briefly the main importance of the submitted work.

Format: Original work and review articles concerning fields of recognisable progress are accepted for evaluation. Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English and should contain all essential data in order to make the presentation clear.

General style: Title of the work, sub-titles and general headlines should be presented in lower case letters (not capitals). Indicate affiliations of the Authors by number (not symbols). Abstract should be continuous (without reference numbers, or headlines).

Manuscripts: Submitted manuscripts should include abstract, text, figures and references. Manuscripts reporting experimental results should be divided into the following sections: (a) First page should include the title of the presented work, full names and full postal addresses of all Authors, name and the e-mail address of the Author to whom correspondence is to be sent, key words and an abbreviated running title; (b) Abstract of approximately 150-300 words; (c) Introduction; (d) Materials and methods; (e) Results; (f) Discussion; (g) Acknowledgements and (h) References. The pages should be numbered consecutively. Footnotes should not be used.

Reviews: Review articles may have different sections and headlines according to the subject matter and the Author"s opinion; however, an Abstract is mandatory. The main headlines of the review should be summarized as a contents section immediately following the Abstract.

Figures: Color figures are welcome; however, they should be submitted only if reproduction in color is intended (a charge will apply). Electronically submitted figures should be saved as .tiff files at a resolution of 300 dpi/in. Color figures should be set to CMYK mode. Figures should be clear, high contrast, and of the size they are to appear in the journal: 8.00 cm (3.15 in) wide for a single column; 17.00 cm (6.70 in) for a double column; maximum height 20.00 cm (7.87 in). Graphs should not require any artwork or typesetting, and symbols, numbering and lettering should be clearly legible and of the appropriate size. The number and top of figures in print should be indicated.

Tables: Each table should be submitted on a separate page, and typed using double-spacing. Tables should be numbered with Roman numerals and should include a short title.

Nomenclature and Abbreviations: Nomenclature should follow that given in Chemical Abstracts. Standard abbreviations are preferable. If a new abbreviation is used, it should be defined at its first usage.

References: Citation of journal titles follow the standard form of Index Medicus and the references must be numbered consecutively. Do NOT use full stop after initials or abbreviations. In the text, references should be cited by number in soft brackets e.g. (1-3) (1,2). Inclusive page numbers should be given. Complete Author list is preferred, however, if more than 7 Authors, 3 names and et al can be used. Following are examples of order and style, which should be strictly adhered to:

Personal communications should be avoided. Manuscripts in preparation or submitted, but not yet accepted, and abstracts, may be cited in the text, however should NOT be included in the list of references.
