Instructions for authors
Mobile DNA is an online, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes articles providing novel insights into DNA rearrangements in all organisms, ranging from transposition and other types of recombination mechanisms to patterns and processes of mobile element and host genome evolution.
In addition, the journal will consider articles on the utility of mobile genetic elements in biotechnological methods and protocols. Articles on microorganisms and viruses are particularly welcome.
Each article type published by Mobile DNA follows a specific format, as detailed in the corresponding instructions for authors; please choose an article type from the list on the left to view the instructions for authors.
The instructions for authors includes information about preparing a manuscript for submission to Mobile DNA, criteria for publication and the online submission process. Other relevant information about the journal's policies, the refereeing process and so on can be found in 'About this journal'.
