It aims to publish empirical studies, critical revisions, and theoretical models related to the factors that influence the teaching and learning processes: The social and school context : the family's social and cultural influence as well as the student's mother language and its influence on the L2 learning process, etc. The students : personal characteristics (age, gender, personality traits, etc.) as well as their attitudes, motivation, cognitive styles, etc. The FL teacher : the teacher's mental representations, attitudes, motivation, individual characteristics, initial and continuous education, teaching methods, professional development, etc. Learning conditions and the learning process : the educational/curricular treatment, the teaching methods and learning strategies used, influence of learning contexts in the students' achievement, the didactic procedures, materials, competences developed by the students in relation to the language programs applied in class, attention given to the different communicative skills, input analysis, classroom language used for interaction, effects of teaching resources and materials used in class, etc. Learning outcomes: evaluation procedures, evaluation of the students' communicative competence at different academic levels, European portfolio, etc.   Instructions to Authors NORMAS DE PUBLICACIÓN   Tipo de textos y formato Los artículos que se presenten han de ser inéditos. Su extensión no deberá superar las 7.000 palabras aproximadamente, incluidas notas, gráficos, tablas y bibliografía. De manera excepcional, el Consejo de Redacción se reserva el derecho de publicar aquellos artículos que por su temática y valor científico excedan este número de palabras. Todos los trabajos irán acompañados obligatoriamente de un resumen en inglés y en el idioma del artículo de no más de 100 palabras cada uno, así como de 4 ó 5 palabras clave. Si se usa el inglés, el 2º resumen y las palabras clave se escribirán en español. Todos los artículos que se presenten en una lengua que no sea la lengua materna del autor han de ser revisados por un nativo cualificado. El contenido de los artículos y las opiniones vertidas son responsabilidad de los autores.   Envío de originales Los originales se enviarán por correo electrónico en archivo adjunto indicando el título del artículo, nombre del autor o autores, universidad, teléfono de contacto, dirección postal y dirección de correo electrónico.   Formato y estilo de páginas El formato página será 17´24 cm y 2cm de margen por cada lado. El tipo de letra utilizado será Times New Roman 10 para el texto, 9 para las citas y 8 para las notas. Asimismo, el tamaño de la letra tanto dentro como a pie de tablas y figuras será de cuerpo 9. El espaciado interlineal será sencillo para el texto y para las citas. Las citas a un autor o varios autores dentro del cuerpo del artículo seguirán la siguiente pauta (Sánchez, 1998:15; Ur, 1984:43), referencias que aparecerá completas en la bibliografía final. Las citas que superen las tres líneas figurarán sangradas a 1 cm en el margen  derecho e izquierdo y sin comillas. Las notas aparecerán a pie de página y en el texto se hará referencia con número en superíndice. Los gráficos irán en formato Tiff [.tif]. La tipografía y numeración de los apartados debe ir como se indica a continuación:   ABSTRACT y Key words: letra en tamaño 9. RESUMEN y Palabras clave: tamaño 9. Los apartados principales del artículo deben ir en mayúscula y negrita. Ejemplo: 1. INTRODUCCIÓN (mayúscula y negrita) 2. MARCO TEÓRICO Los subapartados de segundo y tercer rango deben ir en negrita y cursiva. Ejemplo: 2.1. Concepto de motivación (negrita) 2.1.1. Motivación instrumental (cursiva) (Se recomienda consultar el último número de la revista en papel o en versión digital para ver la tipografía y numeración de apartados) Recensiones La extensión de las recensiones no excederá las 500 palabras teniendo en cuenta las normas anteriores. Se ha de incluir una imagen de la portada del libro en formato Tiff [.tif].   NOTES FOR CONTRIBUTORS   Contributions Papers submitted should not have been previously published nor submitted for current consideration elsewhere. They should not exceed 7,000 words including footnotes, diagrams, tables and references. The Editorial Board reserves the right to extend this limit in the case of articles of special scientific interest. Papers should also include two abstracts of no more than a hundred words each, one in English and the other in the language of the article, together with four or five key words. If the article is  in English, the second abstract and key words must be written in Spanish. All articles presented in a language which is not the author's mother tongue should be revised by a qualified native speaker. The author or authors are responsible for the content of articles submitted, and for any opinions expressed therein.   Presentation Contributions should be sent as an e-mail attachment; the title, author’s/authors’ name(s), affiliation, contact telephone number, postal and e-mail address should all be clearly indicated.    Format and style. Page format should be 17´24 cm and 2cm of margins. Papers should be typed using Times New Roman 10 font for the text, 9 for quotations, and 8 for footnotes.  The font used inside tables and as captions should also be 9.  Spacing should be single-space for the text and quotations. Citations should be made in the text by giving the name of the author and the year of publication, with page references where necessary – e.g. (Sánchez, 1998:15). References should be listed in full at the end of the paper.  Quotations of more than three lines should be indented 1cm from the left and right margins; inverted commas should not be used.   Footnotes should be used, and indicated in superscript consecutively throughout the text.  Graphics should be in [.tif] format. The presentation of originals and enumeration of sections should be as follows:   ABSTRACT and Key words: 9 font RESUMEN y Palabras clave: 9 font The main sections should be typed in capital letters. Example: 1. INTRODUCTION (capitals and bold type) 2. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK Subsections should be typed as follows: 2.1. Concept of motivation (bold type) 2.1.1. Instrumentral motivation (italics)   Book Reviews Reviews should be no longer than 500 words, and should comply with the directions given above.  An illustration of the book cover should be included in “.tif” format.     Consignes aux auteurs pour la publication   Types de textes et  format Les articles présentés doivent être des articles non publiés par ailleurs. La longueur d’environ 7.000 mots contemplera les notes, les tableaux, les figures et la bibliographie. Ils devront être accompagnés impérativement d’un résumé, pas plus de 100 mots,  en la langue de l’article et en anglais, ainsi comme de 4 à 5 cinq mots-clés. Si l’article est en anglais, le 2ème résumé se rédigera en espagnol. La direction de la revue ne peut en aucun cas être tenue pour responsable des contenus des articles et des opinions des auteurs.   Envoi des articles L’original s’enverra en forme annexe à un courrier électronique (document attaché) et devra comporter le titre de l’article, nom de l’auteur  (ou des auteurs), université (ou lieu professionnel).   Style des pages La page aura 17x24 cm.  La police de caractères : Times New Roman 10 points  pour le texte, 9 points  pour  les  citations dans le texte et 8 points pour les notes. Interligne simple dans le corps de texte et pour les citations. Pour citer un auteur dans le texte suivre l’exemple suivant : (Puren, 1988:58), la référence complète devra figurer en fin de document. Les citations courtes (moins de trois lignes) dans le corps de texte. Les longues (plus de trois lignes) font l’objet d’un paragraphe, sans guillemets, justifié à 1 cm pour les marges droite et gauche. Les notes seront situées en bas de page et numérotées dans le texte. Les figures seront présentées en format Tiff [.tif] et la police de caractères dans et à pied des tableaux et figures sera de 10 points. Celle des références bibliographiques sera de 9 points, à interligne simple et retrait négatif.   Comptes-rendus Les comptes-rendus de lecture doivent comporter un maximum de 500 mots et tenir compte des consignes antérieures. Il serait souhaitable une image de la couverture du livre en format Tiff [. tif]. Références complètes en fin de texte Pour les références  bibliographiques se rapporter aux exemples de la version espagnole. Bibliographical References Bibliographical references should be presented using hanging indentation, Times New Roman 9 and single line spacing. For books, indicate the surname of the author or authors, the initials of the first name, the date of publication in parentheses, the title in italics, the place of publication and the publisher. Example: Ur, P. (2001). A Course in Language Teaching. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. If citations should refer to work edited by one or more authors, indicate the surname and initials of the authors followed by (ed.) o (eds.) using parenthesis, as shown below: Brumfit, C.J. and Carter, R. Todas las personas que deseen publicar en la Revista deberán aceptar las normas de publicación así como el dictamen del Comité Científico y Consejo de Redacción.   Selection of work submitted   Submitted papers will be sent by the Editorial Board to two external referees who are specialists in the subject for review on the “double blind” basis - this process is anonymous. All those wishing to contribute to the Journal are required to accept these conditions, and agree to abide by the decision of the Scientific Committee and Editorial Board.   Mode de sélection   Une fois reçus, le comité de rédaction fera parvenir les articles, de façon anonyme,  à deux membres du comité scientifique (évaluation à double aveugle).
