This journal encompasses basic science and economic, social, and policy research, including studies on mitigation and adaptation to climate change. This journal attempts to promote research in climate change and provide an impetus for the application of research achievements in numerous aspects, such as socioeconomic sustainable development, responses to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change, diplomatic negotiations of climate and environment policies, and the protection and exploitation of natural resources. This journal also aims to make complex, policy-related analyses of climate change issues accessible to a wide audience. Articles may focus on a broad range of topics at the interface of climate change and society, including policy and socioeconomic impacts of climate change. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of this journal, studies that involve natural scientists, social scientists, and policy managers are particularly encouraged.
