Frank The Journal of Separation Science (JSS) covers all areas of chromatographic and electrophoretic separation methods in theory and practice, both in the analytical and in the prepararative mode. Manuscripts on methodological or instrumental developments as well as on innovative applications are published. The pre- and post-separational facets of a complete analytical train may be covered as well as the reasoning why a certain analytical method has been developed or applied. Particular emphasis will be placed upon hyphenation, automation and miniaturization, aspects which are of central importance to increasing efficiency and reliability in the applications of separation methods in research and on industrial scale. Three types of scientific contributions are wellcome: Original Papers, Short Communications, and Review Articles.
