About the journal

 A peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal, Advances in Skin & Wound Care is highly regarded for its unique balance of cutting-edge original research and practical clinical management articles on wounds and other problems of skin integrity. Each issue features CME/CE for physicians and nurses, the first journal in the field to regularly offer continuing education for both disciplines.

The mission of Advances in Skin & Wound Care is:

  • TO MEET the informational needs of multidisciplinary skin and wound care practitioners through publication of peer-reviewed original research, comprehensive review papers, and practical patient management articles that meet the criteria of scientific credibility, fair balance, and relevance to clinical practice.
  • TO PROVIDE a forum for current information on new products, emerging technologies, educational opportunities, and research breakthroughs to support the clinical and professional development of skin and wound care practitioners.

Endorsed by the American Professional Wound Care Association and the National Alliance of Wound Care.
