About the journal
The Journal of Symplectic Geometry focuses on the impact of symplectic geometry in mathematics. Symplectic geometry has deep roots in mathematics going back to Huygens' study of optics and the Hamilton Jacobi formulation of mechanics.
It has grown to touch virtually all branches of mathematics, including many parts of dynamical systems, representation theory, combinatorics, packing problems, algebraic geometry, and differential topology.
The JSG publishes high quality papers in all aspects of symplectic geometry.

Instructions to Authors
Correspondence by e-mail is requested for convenience and speed.
Authors may submit manuscripts to any member of the editorial board. It is suggested that authors send a TEX file of the submitted manuscript as well as a compiled file in .ps, .pdf, or .dvi format to the Managing Editors by e-mail and a hard copy by fax or regular mail. A list of e-mail addresses for all editorial board members is given in the Editorial Board section.
We regret that we cannot handle manuscripts which are not prepared in TEX.
Authors of research announcements may give the names of mathematicians familiar with the details of their work and/or provide a detailed manuscript, if available.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors are encouraged to prepare their manuscripts in LATEX2e. The manuscript should be set in 11 point type with a text width of 5 inches and a text height of 7.5 inches.
The publisher requires all final papers accepted for publication to use the style file: jsg.cls called with: \documentclass[production,11pt]{jsg}
In order to make articles into the standard journal format, some formatting may change during the typesetting process. This should not affect the content itself.

In order to guarantee that there is no backlog for the journal, the publisher may increase the number of pages for each issue occasionally.
International Press will provide each contributing author with one bound copy of the journal issue and a PDF (electronic rendering) of the paper as published.
