About the journal
Aims and scope The European Journal of Applied Physiology aims to promote mechanistic advances in human integrative and translational physiology. Physiology is viewed broadly, having overlapping context with related disciplines such as biomechanics, biochemistry, endocrinology, ergonomics, immunology, motor control, neuroscience and nutrition. EJAP accepts papers that address different levels of investigation extending from molecular and cellular through to large-system, and which may include genomics, proteomics and "in silico" modelling and simulation perspectives. Papers dealing with animal models or pathophysiological conditions are not excluded from consideration, but must be clearly relevant to human physiology.
