Zielsetzung der Zeitschrift
Notfall + Rettungsmedizin richtet sich an den erfahrenen Notarzt und den angehenden Notfallmediziner sowie an das gesamte Notfallteam. Der Schwerpunkt der Zeitschrift liegt in der prästationären Versorgung von Notfallpatienten mit Schnittstelle zu Klinik, Qualitätsmanagement und organisatorischen Fragen.
Übersichtsarbeiten behandeln aktuelle Fragestellungen der Notfallmedizin und geben einen Überblick im Sinne eines „State of the art� Die Summe der Einzelthemen bietet dem Leser eine aktuelle Gesamtdarstellung und reflektiert die Fortschritte des Gebietes. Hohe Relevanz für die tägliche Arbeit steht im Fokus der Beiträge.
Frei eingereichte Originalien präsentieren aktuelle Studien im Bereich der Notfallmedizin und fördern den wissenschaftlichen Austausch.
Beiträge der Rubrik „CME: Weiterbildung �Zertifizierte Fortbildung�bieten gesicherte Ergebnisse wissenschaftlicher Forschung und machen ärztliche Erfahrung für die tägliche Praxis nutzbar. Nach Lektüre der Beiträge kann der Leser sein erworbenes Wissen überprüfen und online CME-Punkte erhalten.
Aims & Scope
Notfall + Rettungsmedizin, the German Interdisciplinary Journal of Emergency Medicine, is primarily aimed at emergency physicians. The content focuses on pre-inpatient acute medical care of emergency patients with an interface to the clinic and quality management.
Unsolicited original articles present important clinical studies aimed at promoting scientific exchange of knowledge. For randomised controlled trials submitted for publication in Notfall + Rettungsmedizin the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) are recommended.
Comprehensive reviews describe the most recent advances in the field of emergency medicine. Review articles under the rubric "Continuing Medical Education" present the verified results of scientific research and their integration into daily practice.
Review
All articles of Notfall + Rettungsmedizin are reviewed. Original papers undergo a peer review process.
Best Practice Guidelines and Publication Ethics
Notfall + Rettungsmedizin follows the Committee of Publications Ethics (COPE) �Guidelines. Authors are recommended to register clinical trials they consider for publication in free, public clinical trial registries (e.g., www.clinicaltrials.gov, http://clinicaltrials.ifpma.org, http://isrctn.org, www.germanctr.de/online-Register_de.html) before publication. The registries are to be approved by the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authors should include the name of the trial register and their clinical trial registration number at the end of their abstract.
Declaration of Helsinki
All Manuscripts submitted for publication presenting results from studies on probands or patients must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki according to the author guidelines for original papers.Indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded and Scopus.
