About the journal

The journal “Engineering Economics” has been published in Kaunas University of Technology since 1990. The form, structure, content and regularity of the periodical have been changed for several times since then. Up to 1997 the journal had been issued once a year. Now it is published five times a year. Since 2004 English has become the main language of the journal.
The articles published in the periodical are taken into account while submitting Doctoral dissertations and attesting qualifications. Furthermore, “Engineering Economics” has been included into the international data–base. The journal is well–known and considered important by its readers in Lithuania and other countries.
The journal is devoted to the analysis and assessment of the problems related to engineering economics, managerial decisions, new technologies, strategic models, etc. It presents a good opportunity to propagate research results, their practical application and further development.
The works by Lithuanian scientists, research institutions and the representatives of companies, as well as the researches by foreign investigators from the USA, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Finland and other European countries are published in the journal. The members of the Editorial Board from other countries are especially helpful in maintaining contacts with foreign countries.
