Instructions to Authors
Manuscript Submission To speed up the refereeing and publication processes, all transactions and communications between the journal and the authors will be done electronically.
The manuscript (written in English) with wide margins and double-spaced should be sent in Adobe Acrobat PDF format to the e-mail address: mc@mathos.hr. All received submissions will be acknowledged.
The submitted manuscript must not be previously published in nor submitted to another journal. LaTeX File Preparation Upon acceptance of the article, authors will be requested to submit the LaTeX2e source of their manuscript typeset in the standard document class article.cls.
Authors are encouraged to use the Mathematical Communications LaTeX2e class file mc.cls. Please, download and read the instructions carefully (tex, pdf). The easiest way to submit the article is to fill in the template (tex, pdf).
Title Page Includes article title, authors, affiliations of authors (including e-mail address), a short running title (not more than 50 characters including spaces), abstract (not more than ten lines), list of keywords and the AMS 2000 Mathematical subject classification numbers. References Citation of references in the text is indicated by full-sized bracketed numbers, i.e., [1]. References should be listed in the alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript and should be styled and punctuated using standard abbreviations for journals (see Mathematical Reviews Serials Abbreviations List). Only articles that have been published or are in press should be included in the references. For reference citations see the citations in the instructions (tex, pdf). Figures Figures should be included in EPS format, done as professionally as possible.
The Mathematical Communications is primarily printed in black and white and the page charge rate is calculated on the basis of black and white printing. Unless there is a very compelling reason to request color printing of certain figures, and you are willing to pay the extra charge for color printing, all figures should be prepared in black and white format only. Proofs The corresponding author receives proofs, which should be corrected and returned within 48 hours of receipt. Offprints The corresponding author will receive a PDF file of the article free of charge.
