About the journal
Acta Chimica Slovenica publishes original scientific and review papers in the fields of chemistry and related sciences. Reports on industrial achievemens, chemical society news and announcements are also published.
Instructions to Authors
All contributions must be accompanied by a cover letter containing:
1) the title of the paper,
2) name(s) of the author(s),
3) affiliation and addresses of the author(s),
4) mailing address (address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail) of the author to whom correspondence should be addressed, and a
5) statement that the article is original and has not been considered for publication elsewhere in any other medium, including preprints, electronic journals and computer databases in the public domain.
The original cover letter must be signed by the corresponding author and sent to the editor by mail.
Acceptance of a manuscript is based on its scientific merit, as judged by peer review. The editor reserves the right to choose the referees, who remain anonymous.
All submitted manuscripts must be camera-ready, so it is essential that the authors follow the manuscript preparation instructions given below.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
The language of ACSi is English. Correct spelling and grammar are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
Papers should be written in a concise but still intelligible form. If possible, the body of the paper should be subdivided into Abstract, Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, and References and Notes. The sections should be arranged in a sequence generally accepted in publications in the respective fields. An illustration for Graphical Contents must be supplied with the manuscript as the last page of the paper.
Manuscripts MUST BE PREPARED with Word for Windows up to version Word 2000, by using the template file ACSi-template.doc. For other formats, please consult the editor.

PROOFS
Proofs will be dispatched via e-mail or fax and should be returned to the editor with corrections as quickly as possible, normally within 48 hours of receipt. Misprints only should be corrected, and no changes of contents are acceptable.
CORRESPONDENCE
All correspondence with the editor should contain full reference to the paper concerned: the names of the authors, the title, the date of submission, and the manuscript reference assigned by the editor.
