About the journal
The Journal of World Business publishes manuscripts that are broad in scope, but demonstrate keen insights into problems facing the professional practitioner as well as the academician. With specifically designated editorial review boards to recognize the importance of contributions from the Pacific Rim, Latin America, and Europe, the structure of the editorial team has a keen understanding of problems facing the global manager in three areas: human resource development, marketing, and strategic management.
Instructions to Authors
Mission: Journal of World business seeks to publish manuscripts in the domains of international business strategy, human resource management, and marketing. Manuscripts should have relevant and concise theoretical foundations. They also need to translate their findings to professional practitioners seeking to improve their practice of management.
1. Length: Maximum of 28 pages total, double spaced, 1 1/2-inch margins and 12-point type font. Microsoft Word for windows and WordPerfect are the preferred softwares for submission. Upon final acceptance of your manuscript, you will be supplied with more specific guidelines and you will need to submit a diskette of your work. 2. The cover letter should indicate the title and the names, addresses, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address (if applicable) of two or three relevant reviewers for your paper. These may or may not be selected by the editor. 3. The title page should include the title and the names, addresses, fax, phone and e-mail of all authors. The corresponding author should be designated. A 100-word Abstract should be the second page. 4. Referencing should be generally held to a minimum and follow the Journal of World Business format:
In text: Put parentheses around the citation(s), use author's last name and correct date (Spender, 1995) or (Spender & Kessler, 1995). If the authors have more than one publication in a year, use the following notation (Spender, 1995, 1995a). When a work is in press, please use (Ford, in press).
