The Journal of the Optical Society of America A (JOSA A) is devoted to developments in any field of classical optics, image science, and vision. JOSA A includes original peer-reviewed papers on such topics as atmospheric optics, image processing, scattering and coherence theory, machine vision, statistical optics, diffraction and gratings, color, clinical vision, and visual optics.

Author Submission Information
Step 1. Prepare your manuscript according to the OSA Style Guide. For efficient review and processing of your paper, it is essential to read and follow the points listed in the Guide.
Step 2. Use one of the templates to prepare your manuscript. MS Word, WordPerfect, and TeX templates, which assist formatting, are provided.
Step 3. Complete and mail the Required Forms.
Step 4. Submit your manuscript electronically. OSA print journals now require electronic submission.
Step 5. Review the Additional Information for Authors, for details regarding manuscript tracking, assistance with publication charges, decisions, page proofs and submitting revisions, communications and comments.
