About the journal
The Journal of Environmental & Engineering Geophysics (JEEG; ISSN 1083-1363) is the peer-reviewed journal of the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS). JEEG welcomes manuscripts on new developments in near-surface geophysics applied to environmental, engineering, and mining issues as well as novel near-surface geophysics case histories. JEEG is published four times a year and is available in print as an EEGS member benefit, by subscription, and electronically through GeoScienceWorld and the SEG Digital Library. It is listed in the Science Citation Index with a 2007 impact factor of 0.750.
Instructions to Authors
All submissions to JEEG must be made online. Instructions are provided on the JEEG AllenTrack website.
Page Charges
It is the policy of the EEGS and the JEEG that no author shall be denied the right to publish in the JEEG because of an inability to pay page charges. It is recognized, however, that page charges serve to offset the production cost of the JEEG, and thereby, reducing the subscription costs and making the journal available to a broader readership. For this reason, the JEEG suggests a voluntary charge of $100 U.S. per journal page. Authors paying this voluntary charge will be given publication priority and 100 free reprints. Page chages are only voluntary for the first 10 journal pages. For articles longer than 10 journal pages, page charges are mandatory for each of the additional pages. Color figures incur an addtional mandatory charge of $500 U.S. per page.
