About the journal
The Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory serves as a bridge between public administration or public management scholarship and public policy studies. The Journal aims to provide in-depth analysis of developments in the organizational, administrative, and policy sciences as they apply to government and governance. Each issue brings you critical perspectives and cogent analyses, serving as an outlet for the best theoretical and research work in the field.

Instructions to Authors
Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory serves as a bridge between public administration or public management scholarship on the one hand and public policy studies on the other. Its multidisciplinary aim is to embrace the organizational, administrative, and policy sciences as they apply to government and governance. The journal is committed to theoretical and empirical scholarship and serves as an outlet for the best theoretical and research work in the field. JPART encourages the submission of brief comments on articles previously published.
JPART uses the Editorial Express manuscript processing system. To submit a manuscript for review, authors should go here. If you are not currently in the Editorial Express database, you will be required to complete an electronic form that will record your contact information. Manuscripts must be submitted for review in PDF format. Please include all tables and figures with the text in a single PDF file. Final copies of manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word after acceptance for publication. Please ensure that the manuscript is anonymous by omitting your name and excluding self-identifying references. Submission of a manuscript to JPART is understood to imply that the same manuscript is not under consideration by another journal. Authors should follow the JPART style guide available here when formatting manuscripts for submission.
