The IIAV is a non-profit international scientific society founded in 1995. The primary objective of the Institute is to advance the science of acoustics and vibration by creating an international organization that is responsive to the needs of scientists and engineers concerned with acoustics and vibration problems all around the world.  Manuscripts of articles, technical notes and letters-to-the-editor should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief via the on-line submission system. Authors wishing to submit an article need to log in on the IJAV website first. Users logged into the website are able to submit new articles, track the status of their articles already submitted, upload revised articles, responses and/or rebuttals to reviewers, figures, biographies, photographs, copyright transfer agreements, and send comments to the editor. Each time the status of an article submitted changes, the author will also be notified automatically by email.  IIAV members are entitled to display and download full articles published in IJAV in recent years. Non-IIAV members can view the abstract or first page of any paper, but access to full papers or full issues can be purchased electronically by using the online credit card payment system.  Instructions to Authors he International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration (IJAV) is a refereed publication published quarterly by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV). The IJAV includes refereed articles, technical notes, letters-to-the-editor, book reviews, author biographies, and announcements of general interest to readers.  It is our pleasure to inform you that the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration (IJAV) has been selected to be indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). The SCIE is part of the web of science, engineering and computing produced by Thomson Reuters. The IJAV is also indexed in the Ebsco and Elsevier databases.  Authors choosing to submit their manuscripts for publication consideration in the IJAV agree to follow formatting and style guidelines, which can be displayed or downloaded using the link below. If they do not, the editorial staff reserves the right to delay processing a manuscript until authors comply.
