Instructions to Authors
1. Manuscripts can be sent (in two copies) to an editor, member of the editorial board or directly to the Editorial Office: GAFA Prof. V. Milman School of Mathematical Sciences Tel Aviv University Tel Aviv, 69978, Israel e-mail: gafa@post.tau.ac.il
- If the author chooses to submit his manuscript to an editor or Editorial Board member it is advisable for him to send another copy of his paper to the Editorial Office.
Papers should be written in English.
- TeX will be used for producing camera-ready versions of papers for publication. It is therefore advisable for authors to submit their papers in TeX, accompanied by the TeX files either on diskette or sent to the Editorial Office by e-mail. This will mean that accepted papers will undergo only minimal editing before going into production, which will speed up their publication.
- However, being able to submit a paper in TeX is not a prerequisite for having papers accepted for publication in GAFA. It just means that an accepted paper in another form will need to be typeset in TeX, which will delay publication.
- Reprints of each paper will be supplied free of charge, single authors receiving 50 reprints and co-authors 25 copies each. Additional reprints cost per 50 copies: 1¨C2 pages sFr. 135.00, 3¨C4 pages sFr. 168.00, 5¨C8 pages sFr. 219.00, 9¨C12 pages sFr. 270.00, 13¨C16 pages sFr 320.00. Prices for reprints exceeding 16 pages on request. Orders for additional reprints must be placed with the Editorial office when submitting the final manuscript for production.
- Submission of a manuscript implies
- that the work described has not been published before;
- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;
- that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher; and
- that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holder.
