About the journal
|
Over view This journal endeavors to publish significant research of broad interests in pure and applied mathematics. One volume is published each year, and each volume consists of six issues (January, March, May, July, September, November).
Editorial Policy To be published in the Bulletin, a paper must be correct, new, nontrivial, and significant.
Copyright A Copyright Transfer Agreement is required before the publication of a paper in this journal. The submission of a paper implies the author’s assurance that it has not been copyrighted, published, or submitted for publication elsewhere.
Subscriptions The subscription price is US$50 per year to individuals and US$100 per year to institutions. The membership subscription is US$80 per year to ordinary members, US$40 per year to student members, and US$240 per year to institutional members. Members of the KMS receive the issues of the Bulletin and the Journal, which is the companion publication by the KMS, free. Correspondence regarding subscriptions, membership, and notices of change of address should be sent to:

Instructions to Authors
Submission of Manuscripts
Beginning 1 January 2008, The Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society (BKMS) receives the papers only through the electronic submission via http://kms.or.kr/home/bulletin, except for very special circumstances that the BKMS recognizes. This web site provides the standard submission process in steps. This system will ask the author(s) to upload the PDF or PostScript file(s) of the paper. The LaTeX source-file(s) will be needed later when the submitted paper has been accepted for publication in the BKMS.
The TeX source-file should be prepared in a LaTeX format (all styles are acceptable). Other formats are accepted also; however the conversion process by the BKMS may result in 3 to 5 month delay in the printing process. The first page of the manuscript must include (1) the title, that is concise but descriptive and informative, (2) the precise authorship (full names preferred), (3) the abstract, not exceeding 300 words, (4) 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification following the annual index of the Mathematical Reviews, and (5) a list of key-words and/or phrases. The affiliation and/or the address of the authors as well as the e-mail addresses should be included at the end of the manuscript. The items in the reference section should be ordered according to the alphabetical order of the family names of the authors and numbered numerically such as [1], [2], Figures or graphics, if included, should be prepared suitable for photographic reproduction. The BKMS prefers graphics produced electronically and compiled in the EPS format.
The author(s) may recommend the handling editor from the list of editors of the BKMS.
The BKMS advises the author(s) to retain the LaTeX source-file and any other files related, until the publication process is completed. The BKMS may require the source-file(s) as soon as the submitted paper(s) are accepted for publication in the BKMS.
Proofs
Authors will receive only one set of proofs for correction. No altercations or corrections beyond corrections on minor typographic errors will normally be accepted once the set of proofs is issued. Offprints
Each author receives 50 offprints of his/her paper. Joint authors receive 50 altogether. Additional offprints can be supplied at cost if ordered and paid for before publication. An order form will be sent with the set of proofs.
Correspondence regarding a paper that has been accepted for publication should be sent directly to : The Korean Mathematic Society The Korea Science and Technology Center 202 635-4 Yeoksam-dong, Kangnam-ku Seoul. 135-703, Korea Email : paper@kms.or.kr
