About the journal
|
The Journal of Molecular Neuroscience presents original papers on all aspects of macromolecular neuroscience research. The new editors have greatly reorganized the editorial board, adding many new and world-renown neuroscientists to cover a broad range of subjects, from genomics to proteomics or genes to behaviors. This includes molecular studies of neural genes, actions of the gene products, and diseases caused by defects in particular genes. Specific emphasis is given to the cutting edge of signal transduction pathways leading to neurodegeneration and neuroprotection. Studies published in the journal will open new horizons in search for better diagnostics and future drug development |

- When resubmitting revised manuscripts, authors are asked to submit a letter detailing the changes in response to each of the comments made by the referees
Abstracts
- Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should state the study's research objectives, methods, results, and significance
Index Entries
- Include 5-10 index entries/key words
Artwork
- Number figures consecutively with Arabic numerals
- Include figure captions in a separate section at the end of the manuscript; callouts (if any) should be capital letters
- All illustrations, including chemical structures, must be provided in professional-quality, finished form ready for direct reproduction without revision by us. Photographs should be glossy prints with strong contrasts
- Color art cannot be accepted unless the author is willing to assume the additional costs involved in production; quotes will be given on request
