JSEP is an official publication of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (NASPSPA).Subscribe or Renew online!   Instructions to Authors   In preparing manuscripts for publication in the Journal of Sport & Exercise Psychology, authors should follow the guidelines in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed., 2001). Copies can be found in most university libraries, or may be obtained through the APA Order Dept., PO Box 92984, Washington, DC 20090-2984 (www.apa.org/books). Tel: 800-374-2721. ·All articles must include an abstract of 100-150 words and 3 to 6 Key Words not used in the title. ·Manuscripts should not be submitted to another journal at the same time. ·Submit an electronic copy to the editor, Dr. Robert C. Eklund: jsep@cyllene.uwa.edu.au Manuscripts are evaluated via blind review. At least two reviewers are solicited for each manuscript. There are no page charges to authors. Authors of manuscripts accepted for publication must transfer copyright to Human Kinetics. Authors are asked to submit a cover sheet including the following: ·Title of manuscript ·Name of author(s) ·Institutional affiliation(s) ·Running head ·Date of manuscript submission ·Full mailing address, email address, and phone & fax numbers of corresponding author. To facilitate blind review, the first page of the manuscript should include ONLY the title of the manuscript and date of submission. Footnotes that identify the author must be included on a separate page. The manuscript itself should contain no clues to the author’s identity. Review articles and experimental/methodological studies should not exceed 28 pages (including references, tables, figures, etc.). Brief reports are limited to 7 pages. Research reports should be condensed as much as possible and will be judged on their topical relevance, methodological adequacy, and clarity of reporting. Authors are expected to have their raw data and descriptive statistics available throughout the review process and may be asked to provide elaboration.
