About the journal
The Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft is published by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sprachwissenschaft (DGfS). With approximately 1000 members, the DGfS is the second largest association of linguists in the world.
The aim of the journal is to promote linguistic research by publishing high-quality contributions from all fields and trends of modern linguistics. In addition to articles and reviews, the journal also features contributions to discussions on current controversies in the field. Submitted manuscripts undergo a doubleblind review. The languages of publication are German and English.
The Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft is a peer-reviewed journal of international scope.
