Lippincott Williams & Wilkins is pleased to provide a new online manuscript submission and tracking system, Editorial Manager, for the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography.
Editorial Manager allows authors to submit new manuscripts for review, return manuscript revisions and find out the status of their submission. Reviewers involved in the manuscript review process can access articles assigned to them and submit their comments online, in a few easy steps.
We invite our contributors and reviewers to visit the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography Editorial Manger web site now using the menu link in the left navigation bar, or by using the following link: https://jcat.edmgr.com.
JCAT publishes original articles, reports, and studies that describe the latest clinical and research developments in computer-based diagnostic imaging. Each issue of this journal contains as many as 20 original articles on a wide range of pathologic conditions. The case reports published in JCAT impart the valuable clinical experience of leading radiologists as unusual, noteworthy, and illuminating cases are examined. The superbly reproduced clinical images found in this publication highlight unique clinical and imaging findings, the challenging diagnostic dilemmas that they pose, and their ultimate resolution.

Instructions to Authors
The following information will guide you through the Editorial Manager system. Instructions for using this system and FAQs for Authors and Reviewers are available in the HELP section. If you are still having difficulty, contact Adam Nicely, Managing Editor (anicely@lww.com). Requests for help and other questions will be addressed in the order received.

As an author or reviewer, we request that you please look at the guidelines before trying to use the online system, as this will decrease the number of calls and email inquiries.
First-time Users - Please click the REGISTER button from the menu above and enter the requested information. Upon successful registration, you will be sent an email with your user name and password. Print a copy of this information for future reference.
NOTE: If you have received an email from us with an assigned user ID and password, DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. Just log in.
Repeat Users - Please click the LOGIN button from the menu above and proceed as appropriate. REMEMBER DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. Once you have an assigned ID and password, you never need to re-register even if your status changes. You may have different roles, i.e., author, reviewer, or editor.
Authors - Please click the LOGIN button from the menu above and log in to the system as Author. Submit your manuscript according to the author instructions. You will be able to track the progress of your manuscript through the system. Authors are required to download and complete the submission forms as part of submitting a manuscript.
Mandatory Checklist - The Mandatory Checklist form must be included with all manuscript materials at the time of submission. You should download this Microsoft Word file, complete it and attach the file per the submission instructions.

Reviewers - Please click the LOGIN button from the menu above and log in to the system as Reviewer. You may view and/or download manuscripts assigned to you for review, submit your comments for the editor and the authors, and track the progress of the manuscript through the system.
If you need support using the system, a Reviewer Tutorial is available in PDF format.
User Names & Passwords - If you've forgotten your password, click the LOGIN button from the menu above and click Forget Your Password? at the bottom of the Login screen and follow the directions.

| The Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography is a radiological journal dedicated to the basic and clinical aspects of reconstructive tomography. Features in the journal are original articles, clinical reports, reviews, and reports of technological advances (including NMR, PET, SPECT, Ultrasound, and MRI) as well as abstracts of major CT meetings, book reviews, and related materials. |
