About the journal
Filomat (formerly Zbornik radova Filozofskog fakulteta, serija Matematika) was founded in 1987. It is now published by the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Niš, and is supported by the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection, Republic of Serbia. Filomat is now established as an international journal of repute.
The journal publishes only original papers in pure and applied mathematics, providing they contain no trivial mathematical content.
Submissions are strictly refereed and only papers of high quality are accepted for publication.
Filomat is published twice a year. Usually, one volume per year consists of two issues, one of which is published in April and the other in October.
Instructions to Authors
Submissions in electronic form are requested. Manuscripts prepared for publication should be sent in a PDF format by e-mail to the appropriate Editor, using the option: Request Read Receipt. Contributed papers should be written in English. The title of the paper and the name(s) of the author(s) should be followed by a short abstract, keywords, and the AMS Subject Classification of the paper. References, including titles of papers, should conform to the style adopted by Mathematical Reviews.
Once the paper has been accepted, the author(s) will be asked to send the text (and figures) by e-mail. Text preparation in LaTex of AMSTeX is highly recommended, but WORD files are also acceptable.
