About the journal
The IETE is the National Apex Professional body of Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer and IT Professionals, focusing on advancements in Science and Technology. Towards this end the Institution promotes professional development and conducts basic engineering and continuing technical education programmes for human resource development. Today, it has more than 69,000 members both individuals and industries / organizations through its 55 regional centres spread all over India including one in Kathmandu. The IETE is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Dept of Science & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Its activities span from education to technology and research & development.
The IETE conducts both the graduateship (AMIETE) Examination in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology streams and Diploma (DIPIETE) Examination in Electronics and Telecommunication and Computer Science & Engineering streams. A pass in AMIETE Examination is recognised by Government of India for the purposes of recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government while a pass in Diploma Level (DIPIETE) Examination is recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for the purpose of employment to posts & services under the Central Government in the appropriate field. The IETE also conducts postgraduate level course ALCCS (Advanced Level Course in Computer Science) which is also recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, as equivalent to M. Tech in Computer Science for the appointment to superior posts & services under the Central Government.

IETE Technical Review is a bi-monthly journal which publishes state-of-the-art review papers and in-depth tutorial papers on current and futuristic technologies in a lucid language. Occasional special issues are brought out treating current research areas in more depth and breadth. IETE Technical Review is useful to students, engineers, scientists, academicians and managers who are desirous of keeping abreast of the latest research and technology developments in the area of electronics and telecommunications engineering.

Instructions to Authors
Submission of manuscripts is totally online. If you are a new user to the on-line system please register and enter the requested information. If you are already a registered user, please do not register again. Please log-in by entering your userid and password to access your account.
Manuscripts preparation guidelines:
The body of your manuscript should contain the following: On the First page provide the Title of the paper, Authors’ names, Contact Address (including telephone and FAX numbers and email ids), Abstract, Keywords (at least six) and on the second page onwards provide the following: Main text, Acknowledgements (if any), Appendix (if any), References, Figure Captions, Tables and Figures. Use double spacing, wide margins and single column, 12 pt font size and standard fonts and number all the pages. You can upload electronic files either in word or pdf format. However, PDF formats are preferred. SI units should be used where possible. All equations must be numbered consecutively. All references must be listed in the following manner:
Reference to a journal paper:

All reference must be shown as numbers in a square bracket and must be listed in the same orderas given in the list of references.
All tables must be given suitable captions and must be numbered consecutively.

Copyright:
Authors are required to transfer the copyright to IETE once the manuscript is accepted. Either all the authors or at least one author representing all the authors should sign the copyright form. A scanned copy of the copyright form should be uploaded in the system in ‘Article Cycle’ page.
