All manuscripts should range from 25 to 35 pages in length with a maximum page limit of 40 pages. This count includes the abstract, the manuscript text, all charts, figures, and indices. All text, including abstract, footnotes, citations, and appendix material should be double spaced while tables and graphs should be single spaced and each on a separate page. Citations, style and grammar should follow the American Political Science Association standard (Revised 2001).
Authors of quantitative articles must indicate in their first footnote the public archive in which they will deposit the information necessary to verify/replicate their numerical results, and the date by which that information will be submitted. Consult the editor or a current issue of the Policy Studies Journal for further information.
The editor regards submission of a manuscript to the Policy Studies Journal as an implied commitment by the contributors not to submit their paper to another publication while it is under consideration by this journal.
