About the journal
The purpose of these Journals is to encourage scientific originality, creativity, and understanding.
Material of the following kinds is carried:
Perceptual and Motor Skills: experimental or theoretical articles dealing with perception or motor skills, especially as affected by experience; articles on general methodology; special reviews.
Psychological Reports: experimental, theoretical, and speculative articles in the field of general psychology; comments; special reviews.
Controversial material of scientific merit is welcomed by both Journals.
We work hard to balance critical editing, specific constructive suggestions for changes, and to make the approach interdisciplinary. Many special reviewers and Associate Editors aid us in this collaborative effort, including experts in such fields as:

physical education
physical therapy
orthopedics
time and motion study
sports psychology
consumer perceptions |
music theory
physics
aesthetics
education

Instructions to Authors

A manuscript should be prepared in APA* format, double-spaced in clear, 12-point type throughout the paper. Print only on the front side of each page. |
|
|
|

|
Begin with a Title Page, which must include:
|
(a) |
|
the complete title, |
|
(b) |
|
names and affiliations of all authors in the order they should appear, |
|
(c) |
|
the running head, and |
|
(d) |
|
contact information for readers (name, address, e-mail information). |
|
|
|
|
3. |
|
Include a Summary or Abstract on a separate page following the title page. Length should be less than 150 words. |
|
|
|
4. |
|
A Reference List should be included at the end of the paper. Check to ensure that:
|
(a) |
|
all references are accurate and complete (names must include all initials originally given), |
|
(b) |
|
all references are actually cited in the body of the paper, and |
|
(c) |
|
all citations in the paper are included in the Reference list. |
|
|

Copyright Assignment - This file must be printed out, signed, and sent in with your manuscript. Otherwise processing of the manuscript may be delayed.

Tables and Figures should be added at the end of the paper after the Reference List. Each Table/Figure should be on a separate sheet of paper. |

the name of the journal to which the paper is being submitted, |
