About the journal
Published continuously since 1886, Political Science Quarterly or PSQ is the most widely read and accessible scholarly journal covering government, politics and policy. A nonpartisan journal, PSQ is edited for both political scientists and general readers with a keen interest in public and foreign affairs. Each article is based on objective evidence and is fully refereed.
PSQ's editorial board is composed of leading scholars from the nation's top universities and think tanks. Authors are drawn from the top ranks of professional political scientists.
Each issue of PSQ consists of five or six insightful articles by leading scholars. Throughout the journal's long history, articles in PSQ have consistently framed political discourse, pinpointed emerging trends, and challenged established assumptions.
Every issue of PSQ also features up to 35 incisive book reviews by noted scholars. The book reviews keep readers up-to-date on all the important new books about the most crucial foreign and domestic issues and the people who are affecting them.
PSQ is written for a wide audience of informed citizens. Among its readers are decision makers in government, the media, and industry--as well as political scientists, historians and economists.
