Manuscripts longer than 9,000 words go to Genetic, Social, and General Psychology Monographs.
2. Manuscripts should adhere to the style and conventions of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, fifth edition. The checklist on pp. 379-382 might be helpful. English-as-second-language authors should have fluent U.S. English speakers review their manuscripts.
3. Manuscripts should be double-spaced in MS Word files with Letter (8.5 ×11 in. or 22 ×28 cm) page setup, 1-in. (2.5-cm) margins, 0.5-in. 4. Its status will be to the right of the title. (For help, click Get Help Now in top right corner of most MC pages.) To find the status of manuscripts submitted otherwise, e-mail soc@heldref.org with Subject: SOCSI manuscript-number last-name. Our editorial board reviews each manuscript in a peer-review process that should take about 6 months, not including times of revision by the author. Accepted manuscripts will be edited to meet APA and Heldref styles.
